In WCKD we believe that every player deserves a chance to learn the game the way they want to play it. There are hundreds of angles you could play in this game, and our goal in leadership is to help you along in any way possible. We want to help you have the best benefits in the game, while also providing a safe team environment where EVERYONE is comfortable to grow in. There is “No one true way to play.”

Our expectations of players are very simple but having them listed is better than assuming everyone knows. This is a concrete way to ensure our longevity 🖖

  • Have fun, real life matters, and it’s a game and we're here for you, just do your best.
  • Absolutely zero bullying tolerance even if a player is a real jerk. Turn the other cheek, kill them with kindness or let the guns talk: within RoE.
  • A PG-13 chat experience in game is mandatory. We want to eliminate the chance of teammates being offended or conflicted by statements or key words that violate ToS (Terms of Service) anyways.
  • Follow the Rules of Engagement (ROE) (we have it posted on our discord server, or alliance profile in game.)
  • If you have a RoE violation and have resolved the issue with the player, please let the RoE officer know, JIC it is posted on our embassy page and we can address it immediately if you are not in game to ask.
  • If you do not want it done to you, do not do it to someone else. 👍
  • Send a PM with “----------” to an alliance commodore to show you have read the expectations
  • Not logging into the alliance for 2 days without prior notice, may be an automatic kick.
  • Not participating in alliance leaderboards, may be reason to kick.
  • Ops 25+ Refine 1-2-3* Isogen into Prog Alloys and check internal alliance memo board for specific needs.
  • Ops 25+ Turn in Cardassia loot into subspace conductors for Alliance starbase.

Alliance markers, what they mean

Treat as a member of our alliance.

Do not kill.

Warships can be attacked if OPC by 1000+ units and are not in the outer ring of the system.
Survey hits only if on a mining node and OPC by 1000+
Base raids are acceptable.
Raid will stop when a valid defense is raised (Player in PvP range arrives, regardless of ship power/type)
UPC Zero node hits are not permitted. This rule may be amended for specific systems.
The server ROE is still in effect.

Be alert near them.

Aggressive ROE with the following protections still in place:
UPC Miners, Token Space, and Armada circles.

KOS is KOS.

In addition to the TOSK-701 Server ROE, we also have these additional expectations of our members:

As of 12/22/2023:
Rules of Engagement 1.1.3 (as of December 12/22/2023)
  • Do not attend another alliance’s territory defense for PvP purposes without reaching out to that alliance’s leadership team.
  • Z nodes will have screenshots taken and held by the player for RoE officer to request if 2 min notice was not given
  • Miners being auto-attacked by hostiles while mining are still protected by alliance ROE until they are OPC

As of 01/07/2024:
  • Do not join in a base raid without asking first.
  • Interfering with a base raid (attacking the base or the OPC/UPC miners) can be viewed as an aggressive act and lead to war declarations.
  • Defending a friendly/allied/civil base is reasonable.
